Autoreid

Et paljude mu loetud raamatute autoriteks on vähetuntud või alles alustavad kirjanikud, siis veidi nende raamatute autoritest ka. Vaatasin, mida internetist nende kohta leida võis.
Casey Calouette

Hi! I'm Casey Calouette.
I grew up on the Northern shore of Lake Michigan. Further North than you think. No keeping going North. Almost...
I've been inspired by genre fiction, pulp, westerns, Hemingway, and good old fashioned science fiction. Clarke, Asimov, and Heinlein occupy a spot right next to Bernard Moitessier and Hunter S. Thompson.
I believe that people can consume more than writers can write. Though I'm aiming to bridge that gap. I write a thousand words a day, every single day, unless I'm sick. I'm known to enjoy board games, computer games, spending time fishing, finding mushrooms, or enjoying the outdoors. I'm a runner, attempted marathoner (twice-damn knees) and currently working on running another Half-Marathon.
Engineer, Father, Dreamer.

Sudipto Majumdar

Sudipto was born a year before humans first set foot on the moon. He has felt cheated all his life that his generation is not roaming across the solar system as was the promise at that time. He has gone about his life stuck on earth, doing mundane things like earning a degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and as if that wasn't mundane enough going ahead and getting a Masters in Business Administration to seal his fate of leading an ordinary life as an earthling.
He has tried to extract a measure of revenge from the society for robbing him of his space adventures, rightfully due to his generation, by turning entrepreneur a few times and unleashing his products on the society. He has started up a software product company, an e-commerce company and a mobile application studio at various times during his career, while being a corporate slave in the interregnum.
He has tried to fill the void left by the unfulfilled promise to his generation with his rock guitar and his books, traveling in his mind not just in space, but in time both future and past. In the later part of his life the void has been further filled by his family consisting of his wife and two daughters. Golf has also tried to fill the void, but it just can't find enough space left over after the family.
Sudipto lives with his family in New Delhi, and would love to hear from you.

Dietmar Wehr
My professional background is Finance and Accounting. At 58, I'm now working to become a Professional Author and I'm writing the kind of space opera, that I've always loved to read. David Weber's Honor Harrington is my favorite series and I got tired of waiting 18-24 months for the next Honor Harrington book. That's why I've written sequels to H. Beam Piper's Space Viking and Cosmic Computer books. I'm not finished with sequels to Piper's works yet but for the next while, I'll be concentrating on an original series, The Synchronicity War. Parts 1,2,3 and 4 are now available. This series is now complete. I'm grateful to those who have posted favorable reviews of my work. I encourage those of you who like my books, to look in the upper right hand corner of my Amazon author page and sign up for email notification of the publication of my future books. Long Live Space Opera!

My interests include but are not limited to; science, history, free energy and New Age spirituality, You can follow me on twitter @DWehrSFwriter

Lee Guo

I like to put a lot of action in my stories. I love the experience of being someone in a combat position. I'm attached to the experience, of being there, in the shoes of a battlefield thrill.
All my stories are military space adventures set in the far distant future. One day, I dream of being renowned for my unique, gripping, and vibrant space combat scenes.
I learned how to write fiction from various sources such as Scott Meredith's book Writing To Sell and Brandon Sanderson's creative writing lectures and much more that's too boring to list.
I am still learning.
My background comes from computer games and reading other people's stories. In particular, I like to read military science fiction novels. I've read so many (and am still reading) but I don't want to bore anyone with a list.
My love for computer games (especially rts and fps) impact my stories if not on a conscious level then on an unconscious level.
I hope you will enjoy my books as I begin a lifetime adventure getting the stories in my head out to the world.

Scott McElhaney

Scott's first novel, Mommy's Choice, was originally published in paperback under the pseudonym Scott Curtis. In under a year on the bookshelves, that novel won the Xulon Book Award for romantic suspense. When Scott moved to a different publisher and started making his novels available to Kindle readers, he returned to his real name and reduced the prices to the absolute minimum allowed by Amazon.
Scott McElhaney currently resides in Ohio with his wife and two sons. He still maintains a full-time job as a credit supervisor at Matco Tools Corporate Office where he has worked for over 15 years. Although his books didn't become available to Kindle readers until December 2011,

Richard Tongue

Richard Tongue spent most of his life looking up at the stars; finally he was forced to accept that he was unlikely to ever actually command a starship himself, and instead opted to write about them for a living. Currently, he is working on the 'Battlecruiser Alamo' military science fiction series.

The fourth book in the series will be Realms of Time which is due out in mid May 2014.

Mark's ultimate intent for writing the Scrapyard Ship series was simple... provide fun escapism for his readers!

Stephen Arseneault
Stephen Arseneault is a native of Central Florida where he lives with his wife and children. With several decades of experience in the fields of science and technology Stephen brings a realistic approach to the science fiction in his works. SODIUM is his first sci-fi series. AMP is the follow-on series to SODIUM.
The SODIUM series was written in first person narrative in an attempt to give the feeling of a historic account of a story as told by the main character. There is no dialogue between characters. It is not the traditional format for a science fiction novel, but it does add a unique dimension to the story, bringing the reader closer to the main character as the actions and events unfold.
The AMP series is also first person, but it follows the popular format with character dialogue.
Aside from eBooks the writings are also available in print from the author's web site

J. Richard Jacob

I am an author of science fiction (both soft and hard), science fact, fantasy and horror (usually funny in a dark manner) on occasion and a little mainstreamish stuff for the not-too-squeamish.

I have been an avid and active amateur astronomer since 1947. I began writing at the professional level in 1956 when, at 16, I went to work as a technical writer and illustrator for Butler Publications in West Los Angeles, CA.

A brief break in my writing occurred when I became a naval architect and yacht designer, though I continued to write articles for trade magazines and journals on such things as yacht design, creative mathematics in design, applied physics, etc. When I "retired", I moved to Mexico to teach some folks how to build small craft, English as a second language, physics and observational astronomy.

After that, I moved to New Mexico where I worked at our local high school teaching mathematics, English, journalism, science and, of course, astronomy.

I now live in a small corner of New Mexico with my wife, Julieta, our daughter and her recently acquired husband, Alexandra and Sam...a cat named Nintendo who believes he is human and a dog named Chickie (really) who knows he's human

Ryk Brown

Born in 1960 and raised on an overdose of television, NASA, and science fiction, Ryk Brown has worked as a cook, rock guitarist, stage lighting technician, and paramedic. He currently resides in Northern California with his wife, daughter, and cat. By day he fixes computers, and by night he creates stories.
Having spent his entire life "thinking stuff up", the advent of digital publishing has finally given him an excuse to write it all down and share it with others. ("Others" meaning someone other than his poor wife and daughter.)
A long-time fan of all things science and space, his goal is to write and publish an on-going series of sci-fi adventures. To be set in his own version of humanity's future, his characters will explore the vast reaches of the galaxy, and perhaps even the universe. He invites you all to join him on this journey through his vivid imagination.

Michael McCloskey
